The Complete Shakespeare When I bought this it was under a dollar at the time. I always wanted to read the complete works of William Shakespeare having encountering a couple of his plays in my literature class in high school. I only wish this edition had footnotes to help with the language and historical context.

I have been re-reading and re-appreciating Shakespeare’s sonnets. They are so beautiful and I really forgot just how complex and beautiful the sonnets are in their whole. I recommend you reread or read these sonnets for a beautiful experience. I recommend you read them out loud for their full glory!

This is one of the best work ever written in the history of literature.Without mentioning the works of Shakespeare in the work of literature then literature is not complete. This is not just a book but a gift to generations to come

It’s a complete wonderful book of Shakespeare’s work . I go back to this book constantly wanting to learn to laugh to cry and be really in the mood to be completely entertained . It has just enough of those comical scenes as well. The sonnets are joyful to read as well !

I absolutely adore Shakespeare, which most would call crazy, considering the supposedly complicated language and confusing plots. I agree that sometimes the language is slightly difficult to understand, but if you immerse yourself in it, it becomes much easier to comprehend. I love how Shakespeare is able to take the most simple ideas and weave them into a beautiful story, where the characters are the only thing carrying the plot. This is one of those books which require companions, dictionaries, and expansive additional readings. I got this book for a dollar, and it's the most valuable dollar I've spent on a book. William Shakespeare was a brilliant man who has opened universes within the people whose eyes have had the pleasure of swiping across his work.
