Taking a break from this series. The story was so-so at best. I'm getting weary of the characters. There is NO growth from any of them. Bay/Landon are either in the all touchy/feely mode or "We'll talk about this later" mode. Oh, Aunt Tillie. I enjoyed seeing all the wishes the townspeople made, and Landon giving Bay's father a dressing down.

In fact I love the style of humor so much that I usually can't wait for these books to come out just so I could be have a good laugh. With that out-of-the-way I do have a couple of comments. 1. In previous reviews I have stated that some of the characters don't sound like themselves but sound like other characters. It appears to have improved in this book. Clove sounds like Clove. She Doesn't sound like Bay. 2. The biggest concern I had was Aunt Tilly. Usually her I love the humor in this book. In fact It seems that aunt Tillie was almost afraid of her nieces, particularly Winnie. The author seems to point out on various occasions that something is wrong with aunt Tillie. At the end of the story when aunt Tillie decides to just throw the potion in the well, aunt Tillie's nemesis is even surprised at the fact that she isn't going to make her suffer. This is jarring and pulls the reader out of the story because the author has stated on several occasions that something is wrong with at Tilly and even has her nemesis point it out at the end of the story. What's worse was the excuse that at Tilly used does not sound like aunt Tillie. Aunt Tillie is supposed to be a bad ass old lady who doesn't take crap from anyone. Yet in the story her character arc is completely opposite of what we have known aunt Tillie to be. I did not believe Aunt Tilly's statement in the end because that is not who she is. It almost sounds like she's dying or something. I think this is where I have the most issues with this authors style of writing. Character arc needs to be true to the characters themselves. If they sound like other characters or if they don't resemble themselves at all then I have a hard time believing the story and it pulls me out completely. Overall I still found it very enjoyable and would recommend this book to anyone.

This series follows their daily lives-past and present-and the 'mayhem' that happens in, around and to Hemlock Cove, MI. Alot of mystic and magic is involved. There's action, suspense and good time fun. Amanda M. Lee's SARDONIC wording is masterful. Laugh out loud humor !!! Colorful attitudes and creative disrespect. Each book can be read and enjoyed as a standalone BUT the reader would miss details and the added enjoyment of building a continuing relationship with wonderful characters. The author writes from the perspective of each character at different times. Make a Witch is mostly from Bay and Landon's. And this kind of sums up where their relationship presently is...Landon to Bay, “You’re my home. Hemlock Cove is just a really weird bonus. It’s a bonus that occasionally causes me to see flying people … and talking bears … and cranky witches. It’s still home .” Hemlock Cove is getting a new wishing well. Enjoy what happens when the wishes are real and there are consequences !!!

Aunt Tillie tried to teach Mrs. Little a lesson, but instead anyone that wished at the well had their wishes go bad. Now its up to the Winchesters to fix the problem before someone gets hurt. Make a Witch was a great addition and a great chance to see my favorite characters. Its never a good story without Landon, Bay, and Aunt Tillie causing trouble. I can always count on a great read and some laughs when reading this series. I'm always looking forward to a Wicked Witches of the Midwest story to dive into.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has enjoyed the series so far. If you haven't read this series you need to pick up the first book and start reading. These books are filled with mystery, laughter, family drama, and heart warming situations.

Can they get Aunt Tillie to reverse the spell (she had a bit too much liquid courage before she cast it)? Will there be any long term results from it? Not much of a plot but regardless a zany, quirky read.

Another neat book in this series about Bay and her family, especially Aunt Tillie. However, it's different from the other series by the author as this one has quotes from Aunt Tillie which give some insights into how she thinks. And plots. Wouldn't have it been easier to make a wish that all the other wishes were nullified and that no more wishes would be granted? That would have saved a lot of trouble.

Fun, High jinks, and Freakyness! A magic wishing well that makes wishes really come true. What's not to love about that? Maybe the fact the wishes are coming true, because of a spell Aunt Tilly added to get vengeance on her nemesis. Suddenly, all kinds of weird and freaky things are happening to the people who dropped a coin in the well and made a wish. It turns out, you get exactly what you wished for, (which can turn out unexpectedly, depending on how you worded your wish.) The catch, (and there's Fun, High jinks, and Freakyness! Wonderful Fantasy I really enjoyed this Winchester Witches fantasy. Good story that flows effortlessly, well-rounded characters, interesting events. The only thing that kept it from a 5 star rating is Landon's behavior regarding Bay. He is an FBI agent and he needs to man-up and act like one. Keep his mind out of the gutter and stop pawing on Bay. Book after book and it is getting monotonous. That said, if you can overlook his inappropriate behavior this book is great and well worth reading. I am Wonderful Fantasy I really enjoyed this Winchester Witches fantasy. Another hit Amanda Lee is an awesome writer. I first started reading the wicked witch's of the Midwest series and got hooked. If you like snarky , funny, loyal and great stories these books are for you. I think everyone can relate to having someone in there family like Aunt Tilly even if they cannot curse you. Amanda Lee is an author that I tell all my friends to read. She takes you to another place but makes you feel as if you're in the stories. Check these books out you won't be disappointed.

Another wild ride with the Winchester family! I loved it!! Bay and Landon are in the thick of another mystery! Add in a wishing well and a flying boy, and you have all of the makings for another great story from Amanda M Lee! The story also touches on some serious subject/situations that I completely identify with. Really helped me figure a few things out that had bothered me for a number of years. Thank you for that Amanda!

Leave it to Aunt Tilly Leave it to Aunt Tilly to wreck havoc with something as simple as a wishing well . In trying to curse her worst enemy she ends up with an even bigger problem . That means the entire Winchester family must work to solve the problems she created . We get to see the world through the eyes of each member of the family and learn why they react the way they do .

The Snark is high in this one! Laugh out loud funny. I enjoy all of the Wicked Witches Series but just read some of the fantasy stories. This is a good one! You will enjoy this book above the Fairy Tail book, I think. It has more craziness and, believe it or not, realism! Worth every penny when you buy the paperback to add to your collection of "Must Read Again" books. I highly recommend this hilarious fantasy!

4 Stars... One wish, what could it hurt? In Hemlock Cove and with Aunt Tillie's meddlesome tendencies? Catastrophe! Bay, Landon, and the Winchester witches are in a race against time to protect the residents of Hemlock Cove when a curse's backlash comes in full force... With all the hilarity we expect from these characters, this story takes readers on a fun filled fantasy adventure into the world of wishes and their magical consequences:)

I love the fantasies of this series as they allow Amanda M. Lee to do something entirely different. And this book certainly was different. I won't spoiler it to you, but I loved the dynamics in this book and Aunt Tillie finally is in over her head...T-R-O-U-B-L-E! One of my favourite moments is the talk between Landon and Jack though. Wishes gone wrong! I really love these stories, short or long. This was not the best one I've read but definitely a great story. If you have a fondness for Aunt Tilley, you'll get a somewhat different look at her in this tale about wishes, revenge, love, mistakes and of course bacon.

Wish it was better! . This one just missed the mark for me. Too childish and if I don't get more than sexual bacon innuendos, ghosts and festivals I'm leaving this town for good. How about some mystery and murder with the mayhem? This one seems to have been written for the publisher, not the fans.

Extremely entertaining And entertaining snarky cozy mystery based in a little niche town in northern Michigan. A family of birth and kitchen witches who solve mysteries and get into trouble and work their ways out of it. This is an extremely entertaining and fun series. Be careful what you wish for, you might get it! Wishes can be very powerful especially when they backfire. Aunt Tillie is really out of control and taking the rest of the town and family with her. A new wishing well in town is getting a lot of business with Aunt Tillie’s enhancements. Only question is what fire to put out first!
