I felt this was a good book to teach your young one's to clean their rooms. Such colorful pictures, small but brilliantly colored and written pretty good with one one word that was a typo very likely I think you had meant to write later and not rather or something like that. Therefore I wish to recommend this for four stars. As well as recommend it for kids ages 2-7 and or in grades P-2. I love the rhymes and the illustrations are such fun, as all learn that cleaning up has to be done. The secret we find in this silly book, is something important, so all take a look. The author is one I love to read, She always brings bright, happy stories with a great moral to children and even teaches the parents a lesson or two along the way. I love the monster family in this book and children will be delighted and learn a great lesson too.

Cutest little bedtime story! All of my kids loved it. It was simple enough for my 3 year old to understand but also gave lessons to the older ones.

Good interesting read for grandchildren ages 3,5,6. This is a teaching book about cleaning your room for children. Turns out the little boy could do it faster than his mommy. It gave Mom some time to spend with the boy reading.

My daughters and I enjoyed this book. I was torn between giving it 3 or 4 stars, but I decided on the 4 stars because the rhyming in the book worked very well. The reason I was contemplating the 3 stars is because there are a few places that could use editing, especially where it says, "lather tonight" instead of later tonight. Some work on punctuation could also improve the book. As far as the story line, it was a pretty good story, although we didn't care for the food part. There is one boys bedroom out of hand in all of Monster Land. Mrs. Monster tidied up his room, all by herself as he promised to do, all his chores. She could only read a short story. Next night is the same with her tiding up with her three hands and his four hands. Once again she had only time for a short story. If you tidied up, I could read more. No threats to punish just a promise of. More stories and more mother. What did he do? What would you do? This was the third book in this kids series we read. I’m thinking that using monsters (although good for some children) really doesn’t work for us. The main lesson of this story is about cleaning your room. I don’t think it’s too early to teach kids to help and have simple chores. I think just like adult books you need to be able to get invested in the main characters. TBH the monsters distract from the story for us. I loved this story. A three handed monster mother keeps cleaning up her found handed monster son’s room. Yet he demands she read him a story. She finally tells him she can’t there is so much to do to clean his room there is time for only one story. The monster child knows if he doesn’t clean up his room before bedtime there will be no more stories. A great way to show kids the importance of cleaning up their rooms.

Great idea for a story! This is a story I would loved to have read to my kids and grandchildren. The illustrations are bright and colorful and they match the storyline well. The story shows reasoning with children, not punishment can get you want you are seeking, which, in this case is getting the room picked up before bedtime and storytelling. I would love to see more books that are written for children use this. Great job!

I read the story to my three-year old grandson and he loved it. Then my older granddaughter read it. I had her highlight the words she had trouble with. Then we went through the highlighted words several times until she had no problems with them. Great story. We loved the rhymes and the lesson could be used by many of my grandbabies.

Cute cleaning rhyme Cute story. Loved the monsters like frightening stories not sweet ones. Only down was that the iPad experience was not good as the words where on one white page, while you have to flip to see the corresponding picture, which makes it hard for little ones to absorb the story.

Good story It tells the kids the importance of keeping their surroundings clean, with a very impressive way instead of giving punishment, its the reward for which the monster kid cleaned his room.

Cute book I loved this book because my 4 year old is messy and I have told her so many times per day to clean up! This book is a cut way to say clean up in a nice way and she just loved the pictures.

Good motivator Loved the rhyme and the incentives for taking responsibility for cleaning up after themselves to earn rewards. Loved the colorful pictures too. Great entertainment for my five year old granddaughter.

And, if life was really that easy wouldn't it be nice! A well written (one spelling mistake) rhyming story about a messy little monster who just needed to clean his room and pick up after himself to have fun at bedtime! And, we only have two hands!

Cute rhymes Some artistic inconsistencies distracted me during the story, but the moral is important and often a hard one for kids to learn.
