I've read all of the books in the Uncommon Justice series and as soon as I start one of her books I'm immediately immersed in the plot. The plot always captures my attention with it's detail and how it makes me feel as though I'm witnessing all that's going on. From the beginning with the desolation and the snow and frigid cold to the hunt for the missing people you will be on the edge of your seat as you quickly turn page after page til you get to the wonderful finish . Don't Keep Silent is the third and final installment of the Uncommon Justice Books and was a great addition to the series. I have enjoyed all of the books that involve the McKade brothers of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Liam is a former Marine and DEA agent who was working undercover with the agency when he was injured saving Rae Burke, an investigative journalist working on a story involving trafficking women. He was working on a case to arrest the same man that Rae was investigating when Rae was put in danger and he saved her. Now, Liam is back at the family ranch, recovering and helping out his brother Heath, who has improved the ranch and turned it into a place for guests to visit and tour the wilderness in the area. Rae Burke is thrown back into her old investigative mode when her sister in law Zoey goes missing and Rae's brother/Zoey's husband asks Rae to help find her while he stays home with their autistic young daughter. Zoey is from the Jackson Hole area where Liam is now living so Rae enlists his help because she knows that she can trust him since he saved her before. It is thought that Zoey could be in the area. The two have an action packed time of dangerous incidents where someone is trying to let them know that they are getting too close. As the two work to get answers, their former attraction to each other is rekindled. This is a page turner with a great story full of suspense with twists and turns that kept me guessing who of the suspects are involved in this complicated mystery. I highly recommend it. What a finale to the Uncommon Justice series! This book started with a bang and it did not let up once. The mystery was very good and the twists and turns kept me guessing. I stayed up late several nights reading it because it was hard to put down. The ending was excellent and I am sorry to say goodbye to these characters. I am looking forward to Elizabeth's next series! I received this book for review and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own opinion.

I have truly enjoyed each book in the Uncommon Justice series. Don’t Keep Silent is book three, yet can easily be picked up and enjoyed as a stand alone novel. I thought the author did a fantastic job of keeping me guessing as to how everything was connected in this novel. I felt immersed in Rae and Liam’s investigation, as well as in the action of the book. It was as if I was up on those ski slopes, making my way down the mountain. Don’t Keep Silent is the third book in the Uncommon Justice series and I very much enjoyed reading it! Liam has appeared throughout this series either through conversation between his brothers or in the flesh, so to speak, but this was the first book where he was actually a main character. He had always seemed standoffish and it was wonderful to get inside his head. He was also a man who had many emotional wounds and it seemed that more than a few of them came from his history with Rae Burke. He had always seemed standoffish and it was wonderful to get inside his head. He was also a man who had many emotional wounds and it seemed that more than a few of them came from his history with Rae Burke. Liam and Rae had a complicated history and I was most curious in finding out the whole story about what had transpired between them. It was quite clear that at one point there had been a love interest between them but that had gone down in flames after a serious event that had many far-reaching consequences. Given their history, the only reason that Rae ended up searching Liam out was because she was in desperate need of assistance and the only reason that Liam agreed to help was that he wanted answers. I loved reading Don’t Keep Silent because both Rae and Liam were relatable characters who were earnest in their hunt for the truth. The mystery was quite thrilling and there were moments of edge of your seat action and suspense that had me turning the pages as fast as I could! There were also moments of such sweet sincerity between these characters, a very inspirational meeting of minds and hearts. Overall, Don’t Keep Silent was a compelling story that, in addition to being a clean read, had an intriguing and suspenseful mystery at the heart of it! Unresolved feelings from the past are the least of their problems, as attempts on their lives take a shocking turn. Elizabeth Goddard’s breathtakingly beautiful descriptions of the scenery make me want to visit Wyoming and stay at the fictional Emerald M Guest Ranch. Readers will not be able to put this book down! The action and adventure keep readers captivated in the storyline as they try to piece together the clues of the puzzle along with Rae and Liam. She’s a reporter and a woman in a suspense novel. That combination usually means headstrong and a little stupid because of determination. And Rae did have some of that, but in the end, it wasn’t really her dogged determination that got her in trouble—it was a whole mix of events and people’s choices. Because she did have her stupidly determined moments of leaving behind the guy-protection she had hired, but for some reason, it didn’t grate on me like it has in other suspense novels I’ve read. Liam was a great guy. He had his past hurts and troubles to get over, but overall he was a solid character. The romance was a steady thread throughout the story, but the characters weren’t obsessing over each others’ looks (it was mentioned, but not obsessively). There were two kisses that were semi-detailed in description. Some teen readers might find the romance too much for them. The characters often prayed to God and went to Him for help and direction. In thinking over the story as a whole, I cannot really pinpoint a specific faith message—but I will admit that I read this during a busy time where my brain was clouded with chronic fatigue, so it could be that I just missed connecting the dots there. It was a book that I enjoyed. There were great suspense moments and a lot of interwoven plots—even if the end did feel like a little jumble of characters spilling information. I’ll be on the lookout for more from this author. *I received this book from Revell and happily provided my honest review*

Liam McKade and Rae Burke team up in Don't Keep Silent to find Rae's missing sister-in-law, Zoey. They worked together once before but it didn't end well and Liam was less than thrilled to be working with Rae again. Still the two team up and work through the layers of both what happened in the past and the mystery they are currently trying to solve. This book was a page turner from the beginning of Don't Keep Silent. It is a solid clean suspense novel with readers working to solve the mystery and trying to figure out how things will work out with Rae and Liam. I liked both characters as they seemed fairly easy to relate to. There are also other relationships within the book that were interesting and thought-provoking in relation to the title. I found the mystery to be interesting all the way through to the end. It was intriguing that Goddard used a fictitious book series as part of this plot--it is always fun to see books play a role within a book. There are some subtle spiritual messages within the book but mostly it is a clean, suspenseful read. I also like the cover art and it seems to go well with the series--a beautiful woman solving a mystery on a snowy mountain. At the end of Don't Keep Silent, readers also get a teasing glimpse in to her upcoming series, Rocky Mountain Courage. I received this book courtesy of Baker Publishing Group, Revell Division and the author. All opinions in this review are my own.

Trying to find his way after leaving the DEA, he runs into Reagan Burke, the investigative reporter who almost cost him his life. But how could he resist helping her find her missing sister-in-law when she asked? Maybe his heart hadn't healed after all. What I always like about Goddard's writing is she keeps your nose to the pages with her fast-paced stories. This one picked up speed after about the halfway mark, but that certainly doesn't mean it was slow up to that point. She laid the foundation for a good storyline in the first half so that the reader could anticipate what was going to happen. Kind of like watching a scary movie where your adrenaline was pumping hard! I liked these characters, they had depth to them and I think Goddard did a great job of making them seem real. There's a good balance of suspense and romance; I loved watching it play out between Liam and Rae. They have a lot to overcome, killers to catch, death to defy, danger to avoid and a missing person to find. Oh and the scenery was breathtaking! I'm not a skier but I could see the beauty of “cowboy powder”, the fresh snow on top of a mountain, undisturbed with an undercurrent of danger that Goddard included. The bitter cold and snow just added to the already tense story; I could literally feel it in my bones! This book is labeled as Christian fiction and I found it to contain a very light faith thread. I guess maybe I'm different than some readers in the fact that I like it stronger in the stories I read. But this did contain enough of an element that you could tell both Liam and Rae did serve God & rely on Him when danger mounted. I just wished it would have played out a bit more! Who could understand why life unraveled beneath them? No one. She wouldn't ask the creator of the universe why, because there would be no way to comprehend His answer. All she could do was trust Him to make a way for her. To hold her in the palm of His hand. ~Rae All in all, if you are a romantic suspense fan who loves a tense book, one that you have a hard time putting down, I think you will enjoy Don't Keep Silent ! Though this is the third and final book in the Uncommon Justice series, this is perfectly fine reading by itself. Of course, I always recommend reading the whole series, it's just too good to miss! *I received a complimentary copy from Revell on the authors' behalf and was not obligated to leave a favorable review. When Rae seeks Liam to help her find her missing sister-in-law, he couldn’t say no even if she used him, blew his cover and broke his heart. Looking deeper into the disappearance they soon find themselves in the midst of a very sinister situation….. The mystery is intriguing and quite suspenseful. I was once again immersed in the beauty and danger of the Grand Teton/Jackson Hole following the two protagonists. This is an intricate plot with some twists and turns that has kept me guessing for a while but I nevertheless figured it out before I flipped the last page….Both characters were so earnest in their hunt for the truth, so focus I felt immersed along with them in their investigation. Oh yes, as well skiing down the treacherous mountain slopes… The setting definitely plays a large role…..The beautiful imagery of the ski resort, the struggling to ski and the snowmobile scenes show the natural beauty of Wyoming. “Don’t Keep Silent” is an excellently written suspense that breathes in a way fits of tender moments. A great finish to the series. I received a copy of this book from the Publisher Revell Books via the First Reviewer Program for my thoughts

"Don't Keep Silent" caused me a bit of anxiety with the kinds of criminals and crimes it contains, the human trafficking aspect in particular, however I really appreciate that the author didn't go into great detail with these crimes, but gave just enough information to set the tone and keep you on edge, anticipating what might happen next. Like the rest of the books in this series, this book has small and big mysteries that are solved with clues here and there throughout the book with excellent pacing.

Don't Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard is a hunt for the truth of what happened to Zoe. The story moves and bends as the suspense keeps readers flipping through the pages. I have read all of the books in this series and enjoyed them, and this one did not disappoint. We take care of some unfinished business, and are updated on the McKade brothers, but don’t get to comfortable, you will soon be holding your breath and page-turning for answers, they will come, and maybe not how you expect. We experience the beauty of the area around Jackson Hole through the eyes of these characters, but evil is lurking, and they have no regard for human life. I so enjoyed this story! I love how Elizabeth Goddard weaves mystery into her books to keep you on the edge of your seat. Her style of writing is fantastic while at the same time the characters seem realistic and believable. ( It's what I love about her books). Lots of twists and turns throughout the book and some of these I didn't see coming! I love guessing at the whodunit scenarios. The supporting characters weren't well liked but that's to be expected. To me, it's what made the story so awesome! I enjoyed Liam and Rae's story so much and I was glad to see Austin and Heath back too if only for a short while. I really enjoyed the plot. It was interesting to see how the investigators go about their searches for missing people although some of it did send some shivers down my back. That's my favorite part of the book is learning what they do and how they do it. I've watched a lot of shows like this but I think I'd rather read about it. Indeed money is the root of all evil. Always has been, I think it's in how people use it. Liam and Rae certainly have a lot to overcome but I was rooting for them through the entire story. I think that if things were meant to be God would certainly orchestrate it wouldn't He? I like to think so. I've really enjoyed this series and I hope there's more to come. I hate saying goodbye for now. But, I will say this this book is certainly worth the reread. I loved every minute of it and it kept me from facing whatever is going on with me right now. I wish that I could give this book more than 5 stars because wow it was just amazing! I highly recommend this book for everyone! My thanks to Netgalley and Revell publishing for a wonderful story! Don't Keep Silent is the final and in my opinion, the best book in the Uncommon Justice series by Elizabeth Goddard. They meet again in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where Rae has traveled to find answers about her sister-in-law's disappearance. Hesitantly, she enlists the help of Liam who is now living on his family's ranch in Wyoming. Very quickly, it becomes apparent that someone does not want Rae to find out anything about her missing sister-in-law. What begins is a nail-biting page-turner for lovers of suspense. Who is trying to stop Rae and why? What lengths will Liam have to go to this time to save her? Read the book to find the answer to these questions and more. Lovers of romantic suspense will enjoy this complicated storyline with lots of twists and turns. Thank you to the author and publisher for a copy of this book. 3.5 stars This was another fast paced, adventure filled book. I was really sucked in during the prologue - it was captivating. I really like Liam. He is the strong over protective type who is always there when people need him. But in this book he was doing too much and it seemed too unrealistic. But I still liked him and how he was there for Rae. Rae is an investigative journalist so she pretty much will do anything for a story. I think I've watched too much TV in this genre because I had figured out parts of the suspense, but it was still fun to read and watch Liam and Rae catch on. I would recommend this book to fans of Dani Pettrey and Lynette Eason. It is a nice combination of suspense with just a little romance. I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. Don't Keep Silent has been on the top of my to be read list for 2020! With a cover like this one I expected this to be my favorite of the series. Sadly, I was wrong. Now, don't get me wrong! I enjoyed Don't Keep Silent, I just didn't find it to be my favorite in the Uncommon Justice series. Liam's and Rae's relationship was one that I loved following. I just didn't love the way that the suspense was carried out, and it may be that this is just me at this time, I don't know. I voluntarily received and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

I was hooked from the first page, “Her abductor thought that by hiding her here in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by this frozen world, she would be trapped. For the average person, that was true.” Just when I thought I had things figured out (a little Grin) the author pulled out all the stops and goes places I never imagined she would. Oh my goodness what a terrific romantic suspense. Elizabeth Goddard has out done herself with her newest book Don't Keep Silent. The plot is a real page turner that kept me glued to the words. A great addition to the Uncommon Justice series. Fans of suspense will not want to miss this book. I can't recommend it enough. My thanks to the publisher and Net Galley for my advance copy of this book. This is my unbiased review.

Loved this intensely suspenseful and action packed adventure wrapped between the pages of a book! “Her father had told her it was his responsibility to speak up. “Don’t keep silent,” Reagan has taken his words to heart trying to right the world of evil. Determined to speak for those who can’t speak and for those whose stories go untold, she longs to bring truth and justice to the world. However, she never expects danger to land on her doorstep when her sister-in-law disappears. Searching for the truth, Rae won’t stop until she finds answers. I absolutely loved this third book in the Uncommon Justice series. The McKade brothers all show up for brief glimpses, but this book centers around Liam. The intrigue, suspense and romance read like a rollercoaster ride with masked danger at every turn for this couple. As the thread of criminal activity unfolds, the past and present steamrolls into riveting and chilling suspense. Through it all, the tenacity of this couple drew my heart. There is a heavy theme that is tough to watch play out, but it is handled so well. Seeing glimpses of the McKade family brought happy closure to the series and brought out Liam’s past and present. I loved his character and a lot of questions are answered from his background with the DEA. Raegan’s character was full of grit and determination that I found refreshing. “This is what I would call an extreme stakeout. But given DEA agent/cowboy Liam McKade, she shouldn’t expect anything less.” The sparks really fly between these two as they wear their hearts on the edge of their sleeves. The snarky comments and adventures these two go on really bring the book to life. I love their deep desire for answers and finding truth. The protectiveness of Liam with Rae give this book a swoony feel, even as they struggle with the past and future. I would have liked to see a little more background story for this couple, but overall I thought it was great seeing them work through trust issues and where their future would go. “God, you’re here in this place. In the stars above. In the mountains and the woods, smiling down at me from heaven and here with me now, closer than I can understand.” Another aspect I enjoy about Goddard’s writing is how she brings God into the story with ease. Liam’s search for direction in his prayers drew my heart. His desire to forgive Rae, but not wanting to open his heart again. Rae struggles with her guilt over what happened between Liam and her in the past. As Rae searches for her sister-in-law, she leans more on God. I love her heart for searching out truth. She has that journalistic drive that at times makes you want to strangle her for not listening to Liam. However, it definitely amped up the adventure making for a fantastic read. This mystery will keep you guessing who is involved right to the end. A great read! I would recommend this book for anyone who loves romantic suspense. If you love Irene Hannon and Dee Henderson, you will love Elizabeth Goddard. It could be read as a standalone. However, the other books in the series would add more depth to the characters. I received a copy of this book through NetGalley by the publisher, Revell. The opinions given in this review are my own and given honestly.

Don't you love when a book's storyline has you on the edge of your seat? That's exactly how it was for me with Don't Keep Silent ! I had to keep myself in check to not turn to the end of the story to figure out what the heck was going on with her. Was she dead or alive?! I really enjoyed getting to know Rae and Liam better - to finally understand why Liam was so cut off from his brothers. Enter, Rae, who had a part of that puzzle. Their "reunion" basically had me saying to myself, "uh oh!" Liam, of course, couldn't help his natural instinct to help even if he doesn't want to. The path to figuring out who took Rae's sister-in-law was a long and winding one. Trying to deduce who was involved and how was frustrating... for me AND the characters. lol Yes, I was questioning nearly everyone who entered the story! As you read through Don't Keep Silent you can get the sense of what it's like to live in Jackon Hole, which was an amazing aspect of the story. You can almost feel the isolation of the outlying cabins, riding snowmobiles in the back country, and what it must be like to ski down a mountainside! There's a lot of action throughout the entire story! Liam and Rae have constantly got to watch their backs! People are trying to keep them from getting any closer to figuring out what's going on in this vacation town along with what's happened to Zoey. Being run off the road, bumped off the ski trail, or being kidnapped, it seems like someone is willing to do whatever it takes to not let them find any answers! Don't miss out on book 3 of the Uncommon Justice series! *I received this book for review as part of the launch team. I wasn't asked or required to write a good review.
