The Bleed is attacking on several fronts and through different realities at once. Gods and mortals fight alongside each other on the streets and among the stars, s The Bleed is attacking on several fronts and through different realities at once. What do you get when you have 3 great horror authors writing a book together? You get a wild roller coaster ride with Gods, half Gods, demons and the big bad The Bleed. There are 3 different stories of people fighting for survival, taking you on a non-stop, action packed tale with awesome characters that keep you on the edge of your seat, swiping as quickly as you can to see what happens next. Looking forward to the next book in this awesome series. I highly recommend this book to anyone who lov What do you get when you have 3 great horror authors writing a book together? It does start off kind of slow like a train as it struggles to find the steam to get out the station, but once it picks up speed it has you firmly engrossed in the characters as you start to notice little correlations in between the 3 authors stories and it really started to make me think of Dr. Who, especially with the wonderful cliffhanger that all 3 authors punished us with. I truly hate cliffhangers unless the next book is to be released rather soon because you've built up all you emotions It does start off kind of slow like a train as it struggles to find the steam to get out the station, but once it picks up speed it has you firmly engrossed in the characters as you start to notice little correlations in between the 3 authors stories and it really started to make me think of Dr. Who, especially with the wonderful cliffhanger that all 3 authors punished us with. Absolutely great book, it's got me hooked and I'm so keen for the next issue in this series!! Huge fan of all Mark's work and I'm also a fan of Chris' "Adrian's Undead Diary" series so this has been a great introduction to David's work, I look forward to reading more from these three authors (individually and as they continue to collaborate).

Amazing! I love this story! I love the characters all trying to escape from wherever they are London, the Moon, Earth, Etc from the Bleed. The different POV’s and the ending was cool! I knew where the end was going but I never knew what was going to happen next! I also love that Moody, Philbrook and Tufo some of my fav authors collaborated and I could almost sense each one of them in the crafting of the story, while I was reading.. from the smart alex retorts, the plot, and the characters. Yup, read this Ok, so I wanted to like this just because 2 of the 3 are some of my favorite authors. Sorry Mr Moody, I just haven't read any of your books yet but I will fix that in a moment. But it turns out that I can't like it just coz of the authors but because it's actually a good book. However, I must say (and trying to do this without any real spoilers) a giant WHAT on the face of the WHAT? No, nope, nuh uh, stop it. Whoever wrote that, just stop. I can't handle those damn things when they are life sized. A little more ick factor to the monsters than what I usually read but you sort of needed that to happen to explain just how bad the bad guys are. Lots of locales, interesting bad guys and even the snark that makes a story great. (I loved how some characters carried some snark over from the author's other series.) So yes, this is a book you should add to your Tufo, Philbrook and Moody collections.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Ok so I finally finished it. This was a great story, but the narrator and if I'm honest the writing for a lot of the London parts were BAD. I got 3 hours in and just decided I would rather skip the London parts than stop reading all together. The character (in London) is unappealing and wrapped in dry English humor. That whole section of the book felt like they were trying invoke a Good Omens/Doctor Who vibe and missed the mark by a lot. Like seriously it was SO TERRIBLE. The narrator offended my ears trying to do British accents and the 'dont care about anything punk girl' trope has been done too many damn times. Like seriously, tell whoever wrote that storyline to get on the level of the other two authors. Reason and House Frost were awesome and definitely the best choice to show us THE BLEED through. An intriguing, compelling villain like THE BLEED is a real treat and has heavy Deadite/The Evil vibes. (Thinking this was you, Tufo) The tension between Sandra and Mattie on the moon was great too. I honestly think Tufo wrote just Sandra here because she reminds me so much of Duneuax. It was kind of shitty to kill off the first LGBT character I've ever read in this genre, but they definitely laid the groundwork for him being the weakest link, so at least it's well written and believable. All in all it has a ton of potential, but if you keep the same narrator I'm probably not going to pick up anything else in the series. British girls story should be slightly easier to get through with Mattie there but I cant listen to entire chapters of that HORRID accent attempt. if you have to keep the narrator maybe just ask him to stop trying for the accent, it really does the story a big disservice.

I should have known l'll like it I'm a big fan of Mark Tufo and so I love his stories. I wasn't quite sure how I would like the combination of all three authors but honestly I couldn't tell who was writing. This just made it even better. The complete cohesiveness of their writing styles. I also wasn't sure how I would enjoy the different timelines for the story (I believe I saw another reviewer find this confusing). A very interesting tale of danger infiltrating over time and space which draws you in and you can't help but want to know what's next. This is a great story and I look forward to the next installment!

Badass! I must admit that I was looking forward to this book because Chris and Mark have given me hours of pleasure. Get your minds out of the gutter, reading pleasure. They definitely didn't disappoint me with The Bleed. These characters feel real and I am invested in them, now. Do read this, it is worth it. Besides, most of us are on lockdown. If we weren't,I would be begging for a f2f hangout with these gods of writing. I know I would laugh for hours. Pencil me in, guys? I'll make a roadtrip!

I absolutely loved the Bleed! I already love Mark Tufo and Chris Philbrook so I enjoyed reading the Bleed and trying to pick out which parts they wrote. Tufo’s signature cliff hangers were absolutely there. I was a little unsure if I would enjoy this book as it’s pretty different from their normal works but the funny quips and enjoyable characters that you love or love to hate just make the book a fun and kinda creepy read. Fantastic To be perfectly honest it took me a minute to really get into The Bleed, but once I did, I was absolutely hooked. I couldn't put it down. The Bleed grabbed me and held me tight right up to the very last word. Such a great collaboration by 3 of my favorite authors. Thank you guys, you're all amazing. Cannot wait for book 2!!!!

Garbage. It is hard to express in words the lameness and nonsense of this book. This the 2nd audible exclusive that I've listened to that is nothing but a waste of time. I would say avoid Audible exclusives as they seem to have no quality control over the tripe they are putting out with really good narrators.

What do you get when 3 brilliant writers collaborate on a book? An excellent read and nightmares! This is brilliant, my only problem is that I need book 2 now! The Bleed is attacking on all fronts in different realities and you really get to empathise with all of the characters, bar 1 and if you read this you will know who it is.
